Ned Stephenson

Ned L Stephenson 87, Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 11, 2014. He was born June 11, 1927 in Clinton County, Indiana the son of G. Loyal and Bernice (Yost) Stephenson. Ned served in the US Army and was a 1951 graduate of Purdue University where he received his degree in Pharmacy. He was with Eli Lilly for over 40 years. Ned was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, Murat Shrine (Directors Staff Unit), Scottish Rite and the Mulberry Masonic Lodge. Survivors: wife of 66 years, Ruth E. (Judge) Stephenson; daughters, Janice (Scott) Sommer and Nancy (Randall Starks) Stephenson; grandchildren, Phillip, Ryan and Alaine Sommer; step-grandchildren, Rory and Dylan Starks; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Melanie Sommer. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville 105 W. Pine St. Zionsville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, July 18, 2014 at Hoosier Village Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial, Fair Haven Cemetery in Clinton County, Indiana.
