Ned C. Pickering

Ned C. Pickering, 91 of Indianapolis, passed away April 3, 2011. He was born October 20, 1919 the son of Nathanial and Katie (Kappus) Pickering, both whom have preceded him in death. He was a US Navy veteran during WWII. He also was a 50 year member of the Centre Masonic Lodge #23 F&AM, the Scottish Rite and a member of the Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ. Ned was employed as a watch repairman for Baldwin-Miller Wholesale Jewelers, retiring in 1980. Ned is survived by his loving wife of 65 Years, Irene P. (Nendel) Pickering ; his daughters, Susan (Dave)Gonzalez and Judith Ann(Larry) Buchman; 3 grand-children and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10am (4-6-2011)in the funeral center.
