Naomi Rushton

February 11, 1922 — October 12, 2011

Naomi Rushton, 89, born in Arcadia, Indiana, passed away on October 12. She was a longtime resident of Fishers, Indiana and had lived in Brown County, Indiana for the past 21 years. Naomi is survived by her daughters, Patricia Roudebush (John), San Antonio, Texas, Donna Jones (Jim), Trafalgar, Indiana, and her son Greg Rushton (Carol), Brown County, Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Virginia Landis, Naples, Florida. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Max Rushton, and brothers Wayne Bardonner, John Bardonner, Don Bardonner, and her grandson, Kyle Roudebush. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Bean Blossom, Indiana and was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville, Indiana. A celebration of Naomi's life will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 1 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, with calling from 11 AM until service time. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Johnson County Cancer Care Center at Johnson Memorial Hospital, 1159 W. Jefferson Street, Suite 102, Franklin, IN 46131 or Lutheran Child and Family Services, 1525 N. Ritter Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
