Naomi L. Lee

Naomi L. Lee 93 of Indianapolis passed away peacefullyMarch 7, 2016. She was born January 30, 1923 in Marion County, the daughter ofthe late Ranzie and Minnie McNay. She was preceded in death by her siblings Edgar, Emerson,Eugene McNay, a sister, Ruth Kinnear and survived by her younger brother, David McNay.

She married her late husband Bennie Lee, June 29, 1941,in which they celebrated 56 years together before he preceded her in passing December 26, 1997. She is survived by her three children, Daughters SusanLee – Pensy, Dee Lee – Stevens, and son David Lee, 4Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great Grand Children and manymore Extended Grand Children. Also surviving Naomi are her extended familyof friends living and working at Robin Run Village Senior Living Community inIndianapolis, Indiana for the past 21 years. She worked in the Washington Township School District,Delaware Trails, cafeteria for many years. Always involved in family activities including PTA,Scouts, Blue Birds and taught Sunday School. Her family attended The Church of God in which herhusband, Bennie, was a minister of music over the years In many communities. She served in theChurch of God Women’s Missionary groups and volunteered many hours to the Methodist Hospital WhiteCross Guild earning her a Lifetime Achievement Award for her services. By example of her Christian Faith, she wasalways there to help family, friends or people in need.

Visitation will be held at Flanner andBuchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive, Indianapolis, IN46228 on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.
