Nancy Ann Wilson

Nancy Ann (Brattain) Wilson, 78 of Boca Raton, FL, passed away at home on July 8, 2026. She was born October 28, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late William H. and Jane L. (McGuire) Brattain. Nancy was a 1965 graduate of Decatur Central High School. In 1977 she settled in Boca Raton, FL where she lived until her passing. Her passions were cooking, dancing, relaxing at the beach, beautifying her yard, road trips, family reunions and the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.

 She is survived by her Partner of 30 years, Nick Hossu; her children, Conn Brattain (John Giordani), Chris Myers, and Heather Wilson; her grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon (Kaylee) Myers; her great-grandchildren, Blakely, Raegan, and Von Myers; and her sisters, Joan Para, Sue Haney (Dick) and Debbie Lawrence. She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Jane L. Brattain; half siblings Michael, Keith, Sonnie, and Karen.

 A funeral will be celebrated Saturday, July 25, 2026, 1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Visitation will be held there from 11:00am-1:00pm followed by burial at Fairfield Friends Cemetery in Camby, Indiana. 

There will be a "Celebration of Life" (reception) following the burial with the location to be determined.

For her friends in Florida, a Celebration of Life will be held in Boca Raton, FL at a later date.
