Nancy Elaine Overholt

Nancy Elaine Overholt, 79 of Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her home. Nancy was born February 18, 1945 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Cloyd Paul and Dorothy Mae Carder. She attended elementary school in Fort Wayne and Bluffton High School, graduating from Elmhurst High School in 1963. She went on to attend Purdue University, Fort Wayne for 2 years.

Nancy started her career at Sears and Roebuck, later working as an administrative assistant for Fort Wayne Community Schools, Fort Wayne Water and Pollution Control and the Fort Wayne Fire Department. Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband, crocheting, cooking, gardening and watching college sports.

 Private family service will be held.

 Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Overholt. She is survived by her son, Tyson (wife, Theresea) Gronau; stepson, Greg (wife, Lise) Overholt; grandchildren, Harrison and Addison Gronau, Chrissy Overholt and Lena Jendusa; sister, Carolyn P. Deer Carder; brother, Paul (wife, Kathy) Carder II; niece, Kerri Rhue.
