Nancy Jo Beck

Nancy Jo Beck, 82, Fishers, passed away December 23, 2015. She was born July 4, 1933, in New Castle, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Martin) Luke. She married Vernnon H. Beck on April 8, 1951. He preceded her in passing on April 6, 2013.

Nancy and Vernnon took up residency in Carmel in 1962 until 2000 before moving to Fishers. She was an active member of Carmel Christian Church for over 50 years. She was a talented seamstress and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Jo Ellen Courter (Scott); George Beck (Michelle); Marty Beck (Mary); and Jenny Brooks (Jeff); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Adam Brooks and Jessica Beck; and three siblings, Dora Lee Fisher, Richard Luke, and Frankie Luke.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Carmel Christian Church, 463 East Main Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
