Nancy also devoted countless hours to the American Legion Speedway Post 500, where she was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She gave generously of her time in support of veterans and veterans organizations, helping with the monthly breakfasts and volunteering throughout the month of May for the Indianapolis 500 events. She understood the importance of giving back, and she showed that commitment through her actions and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Nancy was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Paul and Dorothy Fisher and Grandson Zachary Nordmeyer: But above all, Nancy leaves behind a family who she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband of 44 years William Harman, sister Sue Quick, sons Michael Nordmeyer [Traci], Thomas Nordmeyer [Mindy], Brian Nordmeyer [Stephanie], Brad Nordmeyer [Stephanie] and step son Steve Harman [Jennifer] and step daughter Stephanie Harman [Amy Fidler]. Her family was an important part of her life, and her memory will live on through the generations who carry a piece of her with them.

Nancy will be remembered for the life she lived, the work she did, the time she gave to others, and above all the love she shared with her family. Though her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, the memories she created and the legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Her family and friends will forever hold her close in their hearts, finding comfort in the memories they shared and strength in the love that will always remain.

Nancy will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
