Nancy E. Hollis Hensley

Nancy Eleanor Hollis Hensley 77, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away November 6, 2012. She was born November 28, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN, the only child of Frank and Betty Hollis (Shircliff). She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with family, especially attending sporting events with her children and grandchildren. Nancy was an active member of Church at the Crossing, where she taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was honored with the Jan Cox Outstanding Christian Educator Award. Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Shortridge High School. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Jack O. Hensley and her children, Ronald A. (Teresa) Hensley; Cynthia A (Darrell) Taylor; Randal Lee (Tina) Hensley. She was the grandmother of 12 and the great-grandmother of 12. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, with one hour visitation prior to services on Sunday, November 11 at Church at the Crossing, 9111 Haverstick Rd., Indianapolis, IN.
