Nadine Short

Nadine Short, 78, Indianapolis, graduated to Heaven on February 24, 2019. She was born in Eolia, KY to Woodrow and Winnie Short. Nadine worked for over 40 years for Rand McNally in the binding department and several years at AirCom, before retiring to enjoy sitting on her porch and spending time with her family. She was a strong, hard working woman who loved her family and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ralph Dudley Short. Survivors include, her daughter Pam (Mark) Lyons, granddaughters, Heather (Philip), Megan, great-grandsons, Zayden, Zacaiah, Zaxtyn, siblings, Mayme Fish, Darrell (Linda) Short, Janice (Ron) Hadley, Jewell (Marvin) Maggard, Myrel (Sharon) Short, Eunice (Doyal) Waddles, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, from 11-1pm. Funeral services will begin there at 1pm.
