Myrtle Faye (Haddock) Wessel 93 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on November 16, 2024. Faye was born on November 02, 1931, in Lafayette, Tennessee to James L. and Sarah Lee (Taylor) Haddock. Faye worked throughout her career in the service industry as she cared for others and had her own cleaning business besides being a housewife and raising five children. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Tennessee where she gave her life to Christ. Faye relocated to Indianapolis at the age of 17 years old. Faye was preceded in death by her brother, Ottis R. Haddock. Faye is survived by her children, Linda M. McCoy, Brenda S. Long, Phyllis D. (Golden) Smith, Angela F. Johnson, and Ricky D. Wessel, sister, Hessie M. Jones, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.
