Mura Glenna Turner, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Mura was born on September 25, 1934, to Perry Musgrave, and Ina Carson Turner.
Mura graduated from Mannington High School, in Mannington, West Virginia. She went on to work 30 years for RCA in assembly. On October 2, 1977, Mura married the love of her life, John Henry Turner. After retirement, Mura found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience and talent. She also enjoyed spending quiet moments on puzzles, getting lost in the pages of a good book, and unwinding with her favorite crime dramas. She also had a well-known fondness for potato chips, which always brought a smile to her face. Mura was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and will be sorely missed.
Mura is survived by her close friend Elaine Hand, and step-children Peggy Ryndus, and Dennis (Debbie) Turner. She is preceded in death by her parents Perry Musgrave, Ina Carson Turner; her husband John Henry Turner; siblings Mary Lee Turner Roberty, Robert Steve Musgrave, and an infant sister who passed away at birth.
