Mrs. Gloria Elaine Gordon

January 3, 1954 — February 12, 2026

Indianapolis, Indiana

Gloria Elaine Gordon passed away on February 12, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. Her passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Gloria was the loving wife of Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Gordon, Sr., and together they built a beautiful life and family. She was a devoted mother who loved her children wholeheartedly. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she cherished time with her family and found true happiness in simply being part of their lives.

She worked throughout her life at various jobs, including CSC, and later proudly owned and operated Gloria’s Lawn Service. Gloria was hardworking and independent, always willing to do what needed to be done for those she loved.

Gloria found joy in the simple things. She enjoyed watching daytime television, friendly games of Yahtzee, and quiet moments fishing or bowling. She looked forward to family trips and camping adventures, and she loved gathering everyone together to watch movies - even if she sometimes drifted off before the ending. The moments she cherished most were the ones spent laughing and making memories with her family.

Gloria’s legacy will live on through her children: Cynthia (Richard) McKinney, Kenneth Gordon Jr., and Amanda (Brad) Norman. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren - Rachael (Nick), Ashley (Larry), William (Brandi), Tanner, Mackenzie, Hailey, Taylor, Jace, Alex, Jordan, Dustin, and Olivia. - and her great-grandchildren: Raelynn, Aubrey, Lennon, Nevaeh, Aryanna, Jazlynn, Domanick, Jayda, Colson, Avery, and Austin, and a great-great grandchild Adalynn. She is also survived by her brother, Chris, her sisters, Linda, Pam, Debbie, and Janice, along with many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Gordon, Sr., her brother, Gerald, and her parents, Lucille and Harry Greeson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 19, at 12:00 pm at West Newton Worship and Youth Center with visitation from 11:00-12:00 pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Gloria will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the laughter she shared, and the steady presence she brought into the lives of those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
