Mridula (Dula) Rani Jarial: November 23, 1942 - July 17, 2024
After a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Mrs. Mridula Rani Jarial passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born in Pindigheb, Punjab province in India, Daughter of the late Mr. Bihari Lal Aneja and the late Mrs. Satya Wati Aneja. She immigrated to Canada in 1967 to marry her late husband, Dr. Mohinder Singh Jarial, before eventually settling in Muncie, Indiana to raise her family.
Mrs. Jarial held positions at Ball State University prior to retirement including working at Bracken Library, and as a Career Services Resource Center Organizer to help students explore employment possibilities. She was also active in the exercise group Rock Steady Boxing for a brief time, which helps people fight back against Parkinson’s Disease.
She is survived by her three sons Ravinder Jarial (Sangita) of Wellington, FL, Inder Jarial (Nancy) of Carmel, IN, Devinder Jarial of Fishers, IN; five grandchildren, sister Urmila Taneja (Sh Ram Saran), brother Sudhakar Aneja (Neelam), niece Abha Behdi, nephew Sandeep Taneja, niece Anisha Doering, niece Divya Rana, nephew Saurabh Aneja, with extended family in the United States and India.
Mrs. Jarial was preceded in death by her parents & her husband.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home located at 2950 N. High School Rd. Speedway, IN 46224. Family and friends may call from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A small private Hindu ceremony will be held shortly after.
