Mr. Derek Lee White

Derek Lee White, 47, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 13, 2026. Derek was born on June 19, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Randy Lee White and Lisa Lynn White. Derek graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1996. He was a career semi driver, his last 12 years being at UPS, as well as “A SEMI professional race car driver and an amateur tattoo artist.” A devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather, his family meant more to him than anything in this world.

Derek is survived by his loving wife, Amber Nicole White; his children, Deven (Emilee) White, Kennedy (Kevin) Garcia, Daylen (Jasmine) White, Kiara White, Raelee Blackburn, Ronnie Blackburn, Dakotah Nichol, and Zayden White; his grandchildren, Maverick, Emersyn, Amalia, Deven, and Luciano; his parents, Lisa White and Randy (Cindi) White; his siblings, Neelee, Damon, and Jayci, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026, with visitation from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Flanner Buchanan - Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221.
