Minnie 'Mother' Brown

Minnie “Mother” Brown 90 of Indianapolis, IN died August 01, 2011. She was born February 28, 1921 in Manchester, KY to William and Elizabeth (Bowling) Brown. Minnie was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and a former member of North Park O.E.S. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Brown and eight siblings. Minnie is survived by her children Charlotte (Herman) Hibbard, Bobbie Jean (Jack) Phillips, Don Brown, Donna (Steve) Wantz, Debbie (Kregg) Thornburg and Robert William (Leesa) Brown; grandchildren Greg Hibbard, Suzanne McKeehan, Don Phillips, Tammy Lloyd, Tracy Phillips, Billy Phillips, Paige Brown, Nicole Brown, David Brown, Christopher Brown, Camille Brown, Danielle Brown, Angelique Brown, Katherine Brown, Sara Cook, Amy Wantz, Ryan Young, Justin Young, Skyler Thornburg, Timothy Brown, Cheyanne Brown, Matthew Brown, Jacob Brown, Nathaniel Brown and Bethany Brown; great grandchildren Jonathan Hibbard, Lisa Anderson, Ethan McKeehan, Carson McKeehan, James Phillips, Bradley Phillips, Stephen Lloyd, Bobby Lloyd, Cody Weaver, Adrian Phillips, Billy Jack Phillips, Joey Phillips, Billy Phillips, Brittany Phillips and Aurora Brown; and great great grandchildren Maya Anderson, Maxwell Anderson, Nina Anderson and Braden Hibbard. Calling will be held Thursday August 04, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Drive Indianapolis, IN 46228 from Noon to 2 PM followed by the funeral at 2 PM. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
