Mini Ruth Cash-Cameron

Mini Ruth Cash-Cameron, 76, of New Palestine, Indiana, peacefully completed her earthly journey on September 19, 2026. Mini was born on December 12, 1949, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Surry Cash and Mary E. (Williams) Cash. 

Because her father served in the U.S. Army, Mini spent much of her childhood moving from place to place, an experience that helped shape her lifelong love of travel and seeing new places.

Mini lived a life full of warmth, curiosity, and love. As a young woman, she was a cheerleader, homecoming queen, and model, and she carried that same vibrant spirit with her throughout her life.

She had a special love for California, cats, reading, and travel. She especially treasured time spent with her family.

More than anything, Mini will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She had a warmth about her that made people feel loved and welcomed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Lawrence Cameron; her daughter, Lindsey (Tim) Meyer; and her grandchildren, Olivia Johnson, Lane Meyer, and Charlotte Meyer.

Mini was preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, Jesse Cash; and her sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Hitt.

Those who loved Mini will remember her adventurous spirit, her affection for animals, her love of a good book, and the kindness she showed so naturally to others.

She leaves behind many cherished memories and a family who will miss her more than words can say.
