Milton M. Mondor, 85, Indianapolis, passed away November 4, 2011. He was born October 11, 1926, in Springfield, MA, the son of the late Rudolph and Ida (Selin) Mondor.
Milton served in the U.S. Army in World War II and in the Korean War. He graduated with his Juris Doctor from Indiana University. He retired in 1985, as the Deputy Chief in Financial Services for the U.S. Military. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and MENSA, and he enjoyed traveling. He served for eight years as a Docent for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, and was a 37 year member of the Indiana Symphonic Choir.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Katherine (Parrish) Mondor; brother, Howard (Jennifer) Mondor; two nieces, Anita (Todd) Shawver and Andree Mondor (Marshall Eldred); and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, with the service following at 2:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue.
