Millie Louise Matthews

Millie Louise Matthews 77 years old of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 7, 2024. She was born October 28, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Taylor Eugene and Dorothy Delores (McAlhaney) Melson. Millie worked as an Accountant in the Healthcare field for many years. She enjoyed taking trips with her husband Bill, on their Goldwing motorcycle, working with flowers, loved animals, especially her dogs, and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Millie was a great big sister, helper and friend to her sisters and brother. She will be dearly missed. Millie is survived by her sisters, Mary Jane Jones, Margaret Short, Toni Whitehead, and her brother, Jerry Melson, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her extended family. No visitation or services are planned at this time. Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements.
