Millard Harman, Jr.
Passed away July 9, 2013 at age 90. He was born Millard Sr. and Frankie McCrary Harman on July 9, 1923. Millard was a life-member of the Disabled American Veterans, multi-year Commander of Indianapolis Chapter 52 and State Commander in 1964-1965. He was also a Life-Member of the Millersville Masonic Lodge. Millard served in the United States Army in the South Pacific, where he received the Purple Heart. He worked as a machinist for Naval Avionics for 28 years. He was preceded in death by Letha Harman, his wife of 62 years and his two brothers, Jack and Hugh Harman. Millard is survived by his daughter; Melinda Memmer, son Phillip (Carla), and grandson Nicholas (Jona), granddaughter Natalie Johnson (Chad), great granddaugthers, Caitlin and Mara Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering will follow at Adaggios-Highway 40 and Mt. Comfort Road, Greenfield, IN.
