Mildred V. Stout, 94, Fishers, passed away March 3, 2016. She was born September 18, 1921, in Clinton County, the daughter of the late Walter Guy and Iva Ethel (Richardson) Campbell. She married Maurice C. Stout on September 19, 1940. He preceded her in passing on February 13, 2003.
She was a member of Church at the Crossing, ASCE Wives Club, and the Extension Homemakers in Fishers. Mildred enjoyed cooking and baking, and was a published author of a variety of short stories and poems. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children, Sherry (Harold) Bate, Carol (William) Greene, Larry (Stephanie) Stout, Lynn (Kevin) Yaney; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by two sisters, Fern McMinn and Jean Wooldridge.
A Celebration of Life will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at Church at the Crossing, 9111 Haverstick Road. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
