Mildred Naomi Humble

Mildred Naomi Humble, 92, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully of Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born January 30, 1922 in Pasadena, Maryland to the late William and Edith Stinchomb Jenkins. Mildred is survived by her children John (Tina) Humble and Charles (Lourdes) Humble, as well as Jane (Mike) Elson, who was like a daughter; grandchildren Josh Humble, Chrissy (David) Barrett, Jennifer (Chris) Nugent, Chelsea (Bryan) Moll, Michael (fiancé Sarah) Elson, Kara (Jason) Frank, Sean (Dawn) Harbin; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Humble, as well as her siblings Emma Sanders, Norman Jenkins, Elsie Siegret, and Betty Jean Meadows. The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the Samara unit and staff of GreenTree Assisted Living for all of their care. The family is being served by Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park 9350 East Washington Street where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 6.
