Mildred M. Lord

Mildred M. Lord, 85, passed away November 26, 2011. She was born July 22, 1926 to the late Robert and Myrtle Cooley. She married Jack H. Lord Sr. on September 28, 1942. He preceded her in death in 2008. Survivors include; children, Jack H. (Linda) Lord Jr., Richard A. (Rita) Lord, Donald W. (Phyllis) Lord, Jerry L. (Karen) Lord, Brenda Sue (Scott) Ratterman; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren. Mildred is also preceded in death by son, Russell E. Lord, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Mildred was a devoted member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She gave her mind, body and spirit to her family. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. A funeral will be Thursday at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
