Mildred Langford

Mildred M. Langford, 83, Indianapolis, passed away January 12, 2014. She was born May 6, 1930, in Howard County, the daughter of the late Amos and Lyda (Bogue) Helmuth. She married Ernest Langford in 1950, and he preceded in passing in 2000. Mildred was an active member of Broad Ripple United Methodist Church. She was an avid sports fan, especially IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting. She is survived by her children, Rick (Judy) Langford and Susan (Jeff) Vorhies; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Kelsie Langford and Abigail Vorhies. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
