Mildred B. (Ebey) Cruzan
98, of Indianapolis passed away on November 21, 2015. Mildred was born on a farm in Lawrence, Indiana on September 1, 1917 to Dow and Helen (Barnit) Ebey.
Mildred worked in Helen Mowerys Flower Shop as well as for Dr. Cook in a clinic in Lawrence. She also worked in the cashiers booth at Methodist hospital and part-time for Mayflower. Mildred was a 50+ year member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at Crossroads Rehabilitation Center.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Cruzan; sister, Catherine Huff and brother, Frank Ebey.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Anita (Weimer) Hicks; son, Doug Cruzan; nephews, Harold D. (Brigitte) Huff and Steven H. Huff; great nieces, Brigitte (Joe) Gruszczynski and Holly Huff; step-great-niece, Angie Daedelo; step-great-nephew, Billy Jackson; great-great niece, Jolie Gruszczynski; step-great-great-niece, Amanda Payne: and ex-daughter-in-law Haidi, Heller-Cruzan.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at the funeral center on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard East Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220.
