Michelle Lynn Mattingly

Michelle L. Mattingly, 61, left this world too soon, on December 24h, 2025. She was born June 17, 1964, in Indianapolis to parents Kenneth and Annette (Murnan) Nauert.

Michelle grew up on the east side of Indy, and graduated from Warren Central High School, class of 1982.

Shortly after high school, Michelle met the love of her life, David Mattingly. On October 3rd,1987, they were married, and shared over 38 wonderful years together.

Michelle was a loving, vibrant woman with a big heart and great sense of humor. She enjoyed being on the beach, spending time with her family, and listening to good 80s music. " The greatest music ever made" she'd say.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband David; her parents Kenneth and Annette Nauert; her children David Lee and Gracie; grandchildren Joey, Leo, and Nicholas; and her brother Kenny Lee.

Michelle’s memorial visitation will be Wednesday January 7th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 11-1pm. Her memorial service will begin at 1pm.
