Michelle Hickling

Michelle Lynn Hickling 40, Fishers, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2014. Michelle was born on November 13, 1973 to the late Michael Charles Hickling and Nancy Jean (Callahan) Diaz. Michelle was a 1992 graduate of Maconaquah High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2005. Michelle loved spending time with her family and especially the joy of her life, her son Cooper Benjamin. She also loved basketball and the New York Yankees. Michelle was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Nancy J. and Benjamin A. Diaz; siblings: Kimberly Hayes (Dan) of Mexico, IN, Debbie Bales (Steve) of Peru, IN and David Diaz (Pam) of Callahan, FL; and many other loving nieces, nephews family and friends. Calling will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Good Shepherd Chapel, where services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michelle's memory to Riley Hospital for Children or the B.J. Higgins Mission Fund at Northside Baptist Church.
