Michael Wilcox

Michael Leroy Wilcox, 71, of Fountaintown, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 12, 2025. Mike was born on April 24, 1954, to George Wilcox and Helen Gray in Washington, Indiana.

Mike was a member of Post Road Christian Church. He never missed a chance to watch his favorite Batman episodes or revisit timeless shows like The Andy Griffith Show. Above all, he was a proud and devoted dad, cherishing the bond he shared with his son Michael and the companionship of his beloved dog, Happy.

Mike is survived by his son Michael; sister Rebecca Arnold; nephew Nicholas Arnold; and niece Kristin Windgate.

Mike is proceeded in death by his parents George Wilxoc and Helen Gray, and his furbaby, Happy.

Visitation for Mike will take place Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 10:00am-12:00pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm concluding with taking Mike to his final resting place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
