Michael Ray Cook

Michael Ray Cook, 70, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away February 27, 2022. He was born on October 14, 1951, to the late Ray and Ina Brown Cook in Indianapolis.

After graduating from Warren Central High School, he went on to have a successful career as a trucker. He worked at Overland Freight and later for Holland Trucking. He was a loving father to three boys and one adoring daughter. He married his beloved wife, Betty Jane Smith Cook, under the fireworks on July 4, 1993.

Mike is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Smith Cook; daughter, Lyndsey (Andy) Henthorn; sons, Russell Carl (Mary) Hollen, James Lloyd (Kristy) Hollen, and Scott Dewayne (Lynne) Hollen; Grandchildren Josephine, Caroline, Jami, Brad, Cam, Dylan, Zack, Nate, Brandon, Coleden, Tinsley; 6 great grandchildren; sister Hettie Cook (Roy) Caine.

He is preceded in passing by his brother, William (Bud) Cook.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 12-2PM with funeral services to begin at 2PM all to be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229
