Michael R. Butler 60, Indianapolis, passed away March 30, 2013. Michael was born in Lafayette, IN on July 16, 1952 to parents, Joseph and Shirley Butler (Pope). Michael graduated from Ball State with a degree in psychology, and was healthcare recruiter for many years. Michael was a wonderful and well known musician, and was best known for playing the mandolin. He also created a tribute cd for blues player Yank Rachell and Bill Monroe. Michael was preceded in death by parents Joseph L. and Shirley J. Butler (Pope). He will be lovingly missed by his beautiful wife of 38 years; Debi Butler, daughters; Jenni ( Sami) Grover, Sarah Butler (Kris Winiarski), Laura Butler (Wesley Coman), sister; Debbie Squires, grandchildren; Lilia and Adeline Grover. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with service starting at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel
