Michael E. Nell

Michael E. Nell, 67, of Zionsville, passed away on November 7, 2024.

He was a loving husband, proud father and “Papaw”, and dedicated son and brother. Michael was a graduate of John Marshall High School and was the owner of Boone Village Barbershop for over 35 years. He was an avid golfer and an enthusiastic Colts fan. Michael was a respected member of the Zionsville community and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Graham Nell; nephew Robert Woods; and grandparents Ruth Gasaway, Thomas Gasaway and Owen and Helen Nell. Michael is survived by his wife Tina; mother Adrienne; siblings Kathy (Bob) Sahm, Grant (Brenda) Nell and Ryan (Julie) Nell; children Broc (Lacey) Nell, Kayla (Derrick) Hall, and Kristin (Jared) Hamby; stepdaughter Morgan (Ryan) Miller; and 8 grandchildren Riley, Cameron, Tristen, Chloe, Lillian, Abigail, Asher, and Quinn.

Visitation is Thursday, November 14, 11:30-2 p.m. at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville, with memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Michael can be made to Boone County Cancer Society.
