Michael L. Close

Michael Lawson Close, age 59, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home in Indianapolis, IN. Michael was born on December 12, 1956 to his parents, Lawson Close and Freida Clegg. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, his 4 children, Michael, Angela, Jennifer, and Christopher, their spouses, Mike, Crystal, Pat, and Becca, and his 9 grandchildren, Ian, Kaileb, Kaiden, Nevaeh, Brooklyn, Carson, William, Braiden, and a grandchild still on the way. He is also survived by his father and his sister, Linda Pheifer, her husband Terry, and their five children, Amber, Mandy, Jeff, Rebecca, and Lily.

Michael loved spending time with his family. He most enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, camping, and fishing. He loved watching sports, planning his fantasy football teams, his weekly poker games with friends, and bowling. He will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
