Michael James Scaringe
54, of Indianapolis, passed away September 9, 2013. He was born April 21, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to Dominick and Helen Scaringe. His father precedes him in death. He enjoyed playing golf and hunting as well as being an avid Ball State Football and Scecina Memorial H.S. supporter. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and worked for Amtrak for 35 years and in 2012 received the President's Achievement Award. He was a past president of LMOA.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Scaringe, his children, Kelsie Scaringe and Jared Scaringe, his mother, Helen Scaringe, brother, Patrick (Helga) Scaringe and two sisters, Donna Vittorio and Karen Powell.
Friends may visit with Mike's family from 4-8 PM Thursday at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mike's name to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
