Michael J. Meyer

Michael J. Meyer, 69, Westfield, passed away March 22, 2018.  He was born March 9, 1949, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late H.J. and Rejean (Landstoffer) Meyer.  He married Kathleen Pickett on November 8, 1974.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from IU Fort Wayne.  He honorably and faithfully served in the National Guard for 11 years.  He retired in 2013, as a sales representative for Michelin Tire after 36 years of service.  He enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathleen Meyer; two children, Molly (Shaun) Cotner and Marc (Cathy) Meyer; two grandsons, James and Lucas; two brothers, Patrick (Carol) Meyer and William (Beth) Meyer; sister, Marita (Kevin) Roemke; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 17102 Spring Mill Road.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, or the Indiana Donor Network Foundation.  Online condolences may be shared by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.
