Michael Dennis Smith

Michael Dennis Smith II 46, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October 24, 2014. He was born on July 17, 1968 in Fort Lee, Virginia to Michael and Helen Smith. Michael worked at Pizza Hut and was a volunteer at Old Bethel UMC food pantry. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School, class of 1987 and was voted their number one fan. Michael truly enjoyed watching WCHS football. He loved to bowl, cross stitch and stained glass crafts and also participated in the Special Olympics. Michael belonged to Boy Scouts Troop #660 and loved camping and being outdoors. He is survived by his parents; Michael & Helen Smith and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee and Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Maple Hill United Methodist Church, 4607 Northeastern Ave., Wanamaker, IN 46239 from 1:00pm-2:00pm, with a service beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Operations Shoebox in care of Maple Hill UMC.
