Michael David Bratton

Michael David Bratton, 70, passed away April 1, 2016. He was born February 27, 1946, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Paul and Mildred (Curtis) Bratton. He married Patricia Dalton on December 24, 2000.

Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He loved playing golf and working in the yard, but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bratton; two sons, Michael (Suzie) Bratton and Jeremy (Amanda) Bratton; two step-daughters, Kelly (Bruce Gipson) Buchanan and Kristen (Tony) Montgomery; six grandchildren, Rachel, Allison, Nicole, Megan, Kylie, and Dylan; a brother, Jerry (Mary) Bratton; and a niece, Beth (Gary) Rovazzini. He was preceded in passing by a brother, Dick (Julie) Bratton.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
