Michael D. Milakis

Mike Milakis 59, passed away January 7, 2016 after a longillness. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana and 1974 graduated from LayfetteJefferson High School and Purdue University in 1981. Mike loved to attendPurdue Football games even though they were terrible. He loved the outdoors,riding his bike, fishing and camping. He was an avid painter and sculpture. Hewas caring of friends and family who he loved to spend time with. He is preceded in death by his parents Stanand Glenda Milakis. He is survived byhis son Zachary Milakis 27 of Denver Colorado, former wife Debbie Milakis ofJacksonville Florida, his dog Lily 7 of Indianapolis, brother Tony Milakis 48also of Indianapolis as well as a huge extended family and countless dearfriends. A memorial celebration of life will be held at Flannerand Buchanan - Geist, 7855 Cork Road at 5-7 pm on Monday, January 18th. Memorialcontributions may be made to The Little Red Door 1801 N Meridian St,Indianapolis, IN 46202.
