Michael D. 'Mike' Nelson

Michael D. "Mike" Nelson, 66, Indianapolis, passed away May 17, 2014. He was born in New Castle, IN, the son of Ronald and Madge (Darling) Nelson. Mike served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Joseph Nelson. Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda (Frazier) Nelson; his son, Shane Nelson (Angie); his daughter, Kyla Nelson; his grandchildren, Christopher "Scotty" Bradbury, Braden Bradbury, and Kaelyn Kerns; and his sisters, Sandy Boling (Gerald) and Kim Gustafson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 6 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 PM until the service time.
