Michael Edwin Baldwin April 1, 1958 - November 2, 2011 At 53 years old, Mike passed away at home from cancer. During his work life, Mike served in the Army, drove a semi 48 states and, most recently, he enjoyed working for Zionsville Towing hauling mainly semi-trucks. In his free time, Mike loved nature, fishing, auto racing and outdoor cooking with a campfire, cold beer and friends. Mike's grandmother was his first priority for the past 12 years as he cared for her until her death. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Norma J. Baldwin; his sister, Dottie Jean Stewart; and his grandmother, Dorothy Jefferson. He is survived by his sisters; Lisa Lair (Steve); Camby, Indiana and Cheryl Manley (Lynn); Martinsville, Indiana. Nieces, Tina Fugate (Chris) of Ft. Hood, Texas; Ashlie Lair-Holland (Tyler) of Indianapolis, Indiana ; and Breanna Lair of Camby, Indiana. Nephews: Wesley Stewart; Olathe, Kansas and John Baldwin; Greensburg, Indiana His longtime companion: Vicki Hiller; Brownsburg, Indiana Special thanks to Steve and John Imel and Vicki Hiller who helped care for Mike in his final days. God bless you. Words are not enough to express gratitude to those who are there when you need them the most. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, Zionsville. Mike will be cremated, as he requested. There will be no public services. A private memorial and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
