Michael B. Hunt

Michael B. “The Wolf Man” Hunt, 79, of Greenfield passed away on May 24, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 25, 1943. Mike was a dedicated Gas Service Specialist for Citizens Gas for 40 years. He also worked as security for the Indianapolis 500 for 21 years. Mike wore many hats, but above all else he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and man. He treasured his time with his children and grandchildren. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all of the lives he has touched.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 20 years, Pat Hunt; his children, Kurtis (Mary) Hunt, Frank (Cora) Hunt, Suzzane (Chris) Bessert, Timothy Hunt, and Chee Snider; his stepchildren, David (Kim) Hollcraft and Janet Smock; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack B. and Lois Hunt; his son, Jeffery Snider; and his siblings, John Kiesel and Alice Hunt; and his late wife, Cindy Hunt.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 4PM-8PM at Flanner Buchanan—Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 9AM-10AM with a funeral service immediately following and beginning at 10AM. Mike will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
