Merle Rose

Merle B. Rose Jr, 88 of Indianapolis passed away June 2, 2012. He attended Purdue and graduated from Butler. Merle was a navigator in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. Merle was the former owner of Studio Press and Garrison, Jasper, Rose Advertising. He was chairman of the board of Printing Industries of Indiana from 1974 to 1976. He then joined Jackson Press as President of the printing division. After retiring, he served as a volunteer for SCORE. Merle is survived by his wife of 40 years Meredith Rose; sons Merle and Kerry Rose; stepsons Mark and Mike Martindill; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 6, 4pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave with visitation one hour prior to services.
