Merilyn J. Burnside

Merilyn Jo Burnside, 79, of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 1, 2021. She was born on January 27, 1942 to the late James Hacker and Ellen Swinford of Anderson, IN.

She was a dedicated wife to Ross and mother to her two sons, Justin and Lance. She spent her early years working different office jobs. Later took time off to raising her family, but once they were older went work for a local insurance agent. She enjoyed playing card games in particular Bridge with her friends. She picked up golf and enjoyed playing with Lance when he was home. She also was very generous with her time donating it to Hospices. She was an adamant gardener and could be seen taking take of the flowers and vegetables around her home.

Merilyn is survived by her sons, Justin Burnside and Lance Burnside.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross Burnside.
