Mercides Tolbert

Mercides Tolbert, 85 of Indianapolis passed away January 17, 2011. She was born July 12, 1925 in Lowder, IL to Charles and Della Lair. She retired from Rhodes Elementary School and was a member of Fleming Garden Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Tolbert and a son Larry Lair. Survivors include a daughter Lora Woodward and her husband Rick and a son Gary Lair and his partner Doug Hammett. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Floral Park. The funeral will be Saturday at 2PM at the funeral center.
