Melvin Wayne Luebkeman

91, Indianapolis, passed away June 16, 2017. Melvin was born in Wanamaker, IN on September 3, 1925 to the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Hach) Luebkeman. Melvin, a farmer, also worked as a bus driver for over 20 years. He was a member of Zion Christian Church and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and gardening.

Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Frances (Taylor) Luebkeman; son, Mark E. Luebkeman; sister, Thelma Schakel and brother, Lloyd Luebkeman. He is survived by his son, William “Bill” Luebkeman (Lisa); grandchildren, Erika Creager (Don), Angela Luebkeman and Mary Luebkeman; and great-grandchildren: Katherine and Evan Creager.

Friends may gather from 12-2pm on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, where funeral services will immediately follow at 2pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
