Melvin Vonne Sims, age 75 passed away on Monday night, July 13, 2026.
In accordance with Melvin's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Melvin's life will follow at 1:00 PM. Pastor Barry Curtis of Souls Harbor Assembly of God will officiate the service, jointly with Pastor Kenneth Duke.
A full length obituary to celebrate Melvin's life is being created and will be updated shortly.
Inurnment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
