Melvin Lee Cecil, born in Noblesville on June 11, 1967, to Patsy Carol (Reed) Clark and Ted Maurice Cecil. He is survived by his wonderful, loving wife, in which he said was the best $80.00 he ever spent (cost of the JOP). He is survived by his four beautiful sisters Dawn Goosenell, Shannon Cecil, Debroah (Sherman) Dorsey, and his favorite Michelle Jones. His mother also survives in Texas. Melvin is survived by his three children who reside in Texas. His oldest daughter Faith Marie Hassell, who blessed him with two grandkids: Lexi Hope Ikeler and Michael Shawn. His son Shane Hassell who is married to Crystal and she has two daughters: Anna Willie and Desi Lucia. Then his youngest daughter Charity Dawn Cecil.
He is survived by his bonus children and grandchildren. Lee (Amanda) Haskett, Arianna Brooks, and Eva Helton. There are six grandchildren that loved him and the energy he portrayed while they were around. Luvisa Zeiss, Jacob Reader, Kaiden Brooks, Leah Haskett, Quintin Helton, and Benaiah Helton. And he is also survived by his MOTHER-IN-LAW.
Melvin was a hard worker in his prime. Sunup to sundown always trying to make a dollar. Once he made that dollar, he would buy the infamous scratch off trying to win more. He enjoyed his friends, riding motorbikes, and most anything that had to do with being outside.
He was a loving husband and passed away just two weeks shy of their 7th wedding anniversary. He will be truly missed by all that were privileged to know and love him. The big heart he had is irreplaceable.
