Maxine Maultra

Maxine Louise Maultra Maxine left this life to be with our Lord on June 9, 2015, at the age of 85. She was born January 31, 1930 in Allendale, Illinois, the daughter of Olin and Murrel Mullinax. Maxine was a graduate of Allendale Illinois High School and Lockyear's Business College where she was a member and president of the Epsilon Sigma Sorority and also a member of the Alpha IOTA Sorority. She was an Executive Secretary at Servel, Inc., Mead Johnson Research Laboratories, Evansville and Prudential Financial, Real Estate Division, in Indianapolis for 15 years, before retiring in 1990. She also modeled for Servel, Inc. She was truly a beauty. She was a member of the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, and had done much charity work during her lifetime. Maxine's joy was found in her love for her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard G. Maultra; son, Richard G. Maultra, Jr. (Denise); daughter, Dr. Alisa L. Smith (George); she had two grandsons, Jordan Maultra, George Andrew Smith; three granddaughters, Olivia Smith, Kimberly Fourman (Byron), and Kristin Kempson (Jordan); five great-grandchildren: Caitlyn, Liberty, Logan, Jane and Rose and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Crystal Winter and Mary Adams, and one brother, Raymon Mullinax. The family wishes to thank the nurses and therapists at Hamilton Trace Senior Living in Fishers and Kindred Hospice for Maxine's care. They would also like to thank Orchard Park Presbyterian Church for the many visits, communion, and pastoral care that Maxine received. Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm, Sunday, June 14, 2015 with services beginning at 3pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd, 46250. The Reverend Bill Fogg will be officiating.
