Maximillian "Max" Robert Watters, 23, of Zionsville died in a traffic accident October 5, 2011. He was born June 18, 1988 in Concord, New Hampshire. Max was a graduate of Western Boone High School and Indiana University, where he studied film and telecommunications. He worked in web design and advertising at SLW, Inc.
Max, a gifted writer, enjoyed watching independent films and listening to music, but what he loved most was spending time with his family. He was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, LCMS, in Westfield.
Max is survived by his father David Watters; his mother Karren Preus Perkins and step-father Michael Perkins; his sisters Priscilla ( Josh) Beck and Alexandra and Katherine Watters; his step-brother and sister Adam and Julia Perkins; grandmothers Donna Preus and Audrey Watters; his girlfriend Shawna Pino; and his loving extended family. Max was preceded in death by grandfathers Dr. Robert D. Preus and Howard Watters.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2 to 7 pm at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville Funeral Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10 at 1 pm, with calling one hour prior to the service at Zionsville Christian Church, 120 N. 9th, where Rev. Jeremy Mills, Max's pastor from Epiphany Lutheran Church, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1948 St. Rd. 32, Westfield, IN 46074 or NAMI Indiana (National Alliance for Mental Illness), P. O.
