Max Baldridge, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away March 26th, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis November 17th, 1935, to parents Fred and Mabel (Coy) Baldridge.
Max grew up in Indy and graduated from Cathedral high school. He continued his education at IUPUI.
Max proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 to1957.
On June 7th, 1958, he married the love of his life, Joann McCloud. They shared 63 wonderful years together.
Max was a devoted member of St. Simon Catholic Church for more than 60 years. He had a very strong faith and loved being involved in church activities.
He was also a valued member of Knights of Columbus #5290 and the American Legion Post 495.
Max was a hardworking, loving gentleman. An Indianapolis native, he was a huge Colt’s fan. Family meant everything to Max, and he loved cheering for his children and grandchildren at all their sporting events. He never missed a game. In his free time, Max was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
He was an adoring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Max is survived by his wife, Joann; sons Jeff (LeAnn) Baldridge and Bruce (Laura) Baldridge; grandchildren Rylee, Krissy, Megan, Nick, and Hannah; great-grandchildren Christopher, Faith, Gracelynn, and Serenity; his brother in law Donald McCloud and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings.
Visitation for Max will be Saturday APRIL 2nd, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East from 11-1pm. His mass will begin at 1pm. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
