Mavis Allred

Mavis Allred, age 98, passed away August 15th, 2022 in Indianapolis Indiana.

She was born October 22nd, 1923, to the late Karl D and Hettye (Whitaker) Young.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Allred in 1978, her siblings, Jason Young and Dixie Herrington.

Survivors include her children, Philip Allred (Cheryl) and Nancy Tucher,  5 grandchildren;  Barry Allred (Rhonda), Gina Allred (friend John Heck), Jamie Germann (Jason),  Michael Tucher (Tracy), Jason  Tucher (Brandy),  10 great-grandchildren; Cameron Allred,  Taylor Cocanower (Tyler),  Sarah Byman (Grant), Naethan Clark  (Blair), Joshua Workman,  (Jamie), Jade Germann,  Emma Tucher,  Elijah Tucher,  Luke Tucher,  Lily Tucher and 3 great-great grandchildren; Hadley Cocanower, Everett Cocanower,  Delaney Clark and brother Weldon Young.

Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46229 with burial to follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service.
